Town Hall Series
ArtsLink NB is excited to launch a monthly series of virtual Town Halls to connect with, and better serve, our members.
Throughout 2026, we invite members to meet one another, participate in dialogue about the state of the arts sector, ask questions, and share ideas and resources. Each event will centre voices from different areas of the provincial arts ecosystem–we want to hear from and connect with everyone. These conversations will help to shape ArtsLink’s priorities and direction, and notes will be shared with members.
We look forward to hearing from you!

If you wish to join the Town Hall, please RSVP by emailing amy@artslinknb.com with “Town Hall [MONTH] 2026” in the subject line by 11:59 pm the Tuesday before, in order to receive the appropriate link on Thursday morning prior to the event.
If there are specific points you would like to discuss, please feel free to suggest these, in point form, in your email ahead of the event.
Membership
Town Halls are for members, so please be sure to update your or your organization’s membership before sending your RSVP.
As members, your participation will help us better advocate for you, cater our programming to your needs, and strengthen the arts community together.

Public Art
Are you an artist who makes or is interested in public art commissions? We want to hear from you! This open Town Hall event is for artists who are engaged in public artworks–murals, sculptures, installations, land works, and other types of commissions.

Do you make art objects, installations, or stage gallery interventions? This event was for visual artists and all those who exhibit (or wish to work) within a gallery context, including multi/interdisciplinary.

Literary Artists
May, 2026
Are you a poet, a writer of fiction or children’s books, playwright, or songwriter? Do you use words in another way that is integral to your work? This was an open town hall for all artists who write.
Some questions we considered:

-Is there a form of professional development that you’re interested in accessing but haven’t been able to?
-Are there gaps in NB arts sector infrastructure that might be holding you back?
-What do you want us to know about the experience of being a literary artist in NB?
Artists Who Perform
April, 2026
Are you an artist who uses performance within your work? Actors, Spoken Word, Music, Dance, Conceptual Performance, Circus, and more! This event was held for artists who perform for an audience.
Some questions we considered:
– Do you need involvement from other people (performers, producers, directors etc.) in order to carry out your work?
– Where do you rehearse and where do you perform?
– Are there gaps in NB arts sector infrastructure that might be holding you back?
– What do you want us to know about the experience of being a performance artist in NB?
