Introducing the Resident Artists for Introspect: a nature residency

We are pleased to introduce the selected artists for Introspect: a nature residency, taking place September 13 to 26, 2026 at République Provincial Park in Saint-Jacques, NB.

The Resident Artists:

Svitlana Goncharova is a Quispamsis-based Ukrainian-Canadian watercolor artist, author, and educator.

Thu Ho is a Vietnamese Canadian visual artist whose interdisciplinary practice spans photography, printmaking, and fibre art.

Van Pham is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist.

Shalini Tewari is a writer and photographer working at the intersection of embodiment, storytelling, and place.

Michael Wood is a ceramist whose work explores time and space through shape and the memories held in clay’s lifecycle.

Introspect Open Studio Day:

Join us for Open Studio Day in République Provincial Park! The artists will give a brief presentation about their work, and be available to meet with the public and answer questions about the residency.

As a provincial entity, ArtsLink NB acknowledges that it carries out its work on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which these nations first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.

We, the members of ArtsLink NB, pay respect to the descendants of this land and to the elders — past and present. We honour the knowledge keepers and seek guidance as we strive to develop closer relationships with the Indigenous People in this land that is called New Brunswick.
