Carte Blanche Acadie is returning for its 8th edition!

This event is created in collaboration with ArtsLink NB, the Association acadienne des artistes professionnel·le·s du Nouveau-Brunswick, and the Aberdeen Cultural Centre.

All dance artists from the Atlantic provinces are invited to apply. Regardless of your language or background, this platform is designed for you, in a spirit of encounter and sharing where dance becomes the common language that unites us.

Join us on Saturday, February 13th, 2027, at 7 PM, at la Salle Bernard-LeBlanc in the Aberdeen Cultural Centre in Moncton. The stage awaits you for an evening of performances and exchanges, followed the next day, Sunday, February 14th, from 12 to 3 PM, by a bilingual business meeting at the same location. A full weekend dedicated to dance, where artists and enthusiasts can meet, reflect, and build together.

As a provincial entity, ArtsLink NB acknowledges that it carries out its work on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati Peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which these nations first signed with the British Crown in 1726. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations.

We, the members of ArtsLink NB, pay respect to the descendants of this land and to the elders — past and present. We honour the knowledge keepers and seek guidance as we strive to develop closer relationships with the Indigenous People in this land that is called New Brunswick.
