this town is small Crit Crew Sessions provide an opportunity for artists working in any medium to present and discuss their work. The Crit Crew meets once per month and each session will host three presenting artists. Each session will be facilitated by a moderator and the audience, made up of fellow artists, will provide constructive feedback and engage in critical dialogue.

This group will operate on principles of open communication, honesty and, most importantly, trust and respect for one another. This town is small encourages open-mindedness, respect, a willingness to learn from others, as well as physical and mental safety. To that end we strive to create a space that is free of unkind, unfair, or oppressive behaviours on the basis of language, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, sex, age, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, socioeconomic standing, family status, as well as all acts of violence and harassment, sexual or otherwise.

Crit Sessions will be held at 171 Great George St. Please be aware that there is a flight of stairs at this venue. Membership in good standing with TTIS is required for participation, and can be paid at or before the event.
