I paint the wonder and reverence of my life experience

I work in acrylics applying a multitude of thin glazes or washes of paint, gradually building layers of color until I achieve a suitable depth of mood. I find myself paying special attention to the details.



Each piece provides challenging and rewarding moments of contemplation, confrontation and introspection. I strive to create work that is emotive and sensitive. It has become a journey of self discovery as I respond to my life by painting.



I am primarily a self taught painter but I have to give credit to all of the artists before me and those today whose work I admire and continue to study.
