Deborah has been writing for newspapers, magazines and corporate clients since 1999, specializing in people profiles, travel, nature and conservation topics. For her corporate clients, she writes advertising copy, web content, company bios, newsletters and press releases. She coordinated the design and layout for a client’s self-published book about Winegarden Estate Ltd, entitled:  In Vino Veritas:  How an old German Tradition Become New Brunswick’s Windfall and contributed three essays to a book anthology, Super Seniors, published in 2004.
 
Her first full length book - Sanctuary: The Story of Naturalist Mary Majka - was released by Goose Lane Editions in October  2010. It is currently on the "New Brunswick Reads" list.
