Allison Goodine
Originally from Plaster Rock, New Brunswick, Allison spent the last two years in the Fraser Valley, British Columbia and now resides in Carleton County, New Brunswick. He began painting as a hobby in 1965 until it become a full-time passion in 1989.
Allison is a perfectionist and puts every imaginable detail into his work. In an instant you can see the expression in the wolves¨ eyes, the softness of their fur, the weight of their bodies. His eye for detail and incredible realism has long impressed many.
The numerous portraits he has painted also display his incredible talent, which will be cherished for generations.
His work has been presented at many exhibitions throughout New Brunswick and at the Harrison Festival of the Arts and other local festivals in British Columbia.
Some of this work is currently in the collection of former New Brunswick Premier Frank McKenna, as well as in many prestigious offices throughout Canada.
Allison has also donated much of his artwork for auctions and raffles over the years, always receiving significant contributions.
To truly appreciate his work, one has to see and admire it, as so many have.
