Our Industrial Landscape II: A Reinterpretation

Please join us at the little gallery for an opening reception on Friday, March 10th. On the walls: my latest crack at Courtenay Bay and our industrial landscape.
In this series, I’m trying to evoke the fluidity of this landscape, reminding myself that very few elements here remain fixed – the ships, tankers, train cars, the sky, the water, all move in and out of our view. I’m attempting to render in paint the idea of a fluid memory, a glimpse or peripheral snatch of a scene.
Everyone is welcome! There will be wine and nibblies. And maybe cake (it’s my birthday on March 10th, haha!).
