The Old Masters are known for doing extensive preparatory drawings for their paintings. If you’re looking for an opportunity to work on a life drawing for an extended period of time — or indeed to break out your paints and paint a portrait — here’s your chance! Our portrait model will be holding the same pose for a total of 10 hours over the course of this weekend, giving us a rare opportunity to complete a detailed drawing or painting from life.
The model will sit for four consecutive 2.5 hour sessions (with breaks) and artists can register for some or all of the sessions. Saturday and Sunday. Register at sunburyshores.org/adult-courses or call 506.529.3386.
