Choice Cuts ~ Monthly open mic readings at AX

We usually meet at 7:00 pm on the first Thursday of each month for Choice Cuts, but because of the upcoming snowstorm, we’re postponing by 1 week, to Thursday, January 11, 7pm. If there’s a need to cancel again due to weather, we’ll skip this month and gather on February 1. Watch our FB page and website (axartscentre.ca) for updates.
Writers of all levels, from beginner to professional, are encouraged to bring their original poetry or fiction to read, and there’s no pressure. Readings are under 5 minutes each, and open mics will be hosted by a local author who will help guide the evening. This month’s host is Jane Simpson.
Whether you want to share a short piece of your work or listen to other original writers from our region, check out Choice Cuts at AX, 12 Maple Ave., Sussex NB. There’s no charge to attend, and readings will take place in the gallery.
