Basic Knifemaking with Chantal Gilbert
July 17, 2017 @ 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at Sunbury Shores
In this basic knife-making course, you will learn to cut steel stock to create a small knife. The blade will be hand filed and ground to create a good edge. The blade will be hardened and tempered with the torch. You will build a wooden handle for your knife and you will fabricate and mold a simple leather sheath to form your knife.
