53rd Annual Sunbury Shores AGM

Sunbury Shores is holding its 53rd Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 22nd at 6 pm at Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre, 139 Water Street, St Andrews, NB. Everyone is welcome to attend and all members in good standing are invited to participate and vote! Find out about the latest happenings at the Centre, get to know the Board, staff and other members, and share your thoughts and ideas about how we can move forward in our aim to become the #1 destination for arts & nature in Eastern Canada.

JOINING THE BOARD
Joining the Board of Sunbury Shores is a wonderful way to make a difference and lend your voice to the development of the Centre! If you are considering joining the Board of Sunbury Shores or know of someone who is, we are hoping to fill the board with people who have the following skill sets. With one vacancy, Board 2017 expertise is needed in:
- Strategic Planning: To provide input and guidance in the renewal and implementation of the strategic plan
- Board Development: To become an effective Board that achieves the goals and objectives set out in its strategic plan
- Organizational Development: To ensure the organization has appropriate policies and procedures in place to enable the staff to carry out the goals and objectives of the strategic plan
- Succession Planning: Scope to cover Chair/Vice-Chair positions on the Board
You are invited to submit your name and a short resume to Jessie Davies, member of the Nominating Committee of Sunbury Shores Board, jdavies@unb.ca, by June 14th 2017.
NOTE: All nominations must be received and approved by the nominating committee seven (7) days in advance of the Annual General Meeting. A nominee must be a member in good standing prior to the AGM.
