3rd Annual UNB Pow-Wow

April 5, 2017 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Mi’kmaq Wolastoqey Centre and the University of New Brunswick are putting on its 3rd Annual Pow-Wow at the Richard J. Currie Centre.

This year the theme is “Beyond 150: Celebration of Resilience.”

Please come join us for drumming, singing, chanting, vendors, candy dance, potato dance, customary give-away, etc. Schools who would like to bring students to experience the pow-wow are encouraged to do so.

This event is FREE and EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to come.

If you are a vendor or a dancer and would like to register, please do so by emailing starlit.simon@unb.ca Please keep in mind that vendor tables are limited and are first come first serve.

Please spread the word – every year we have grown and are hoping to be even bigger this year 😀

Stay tuned for a livestream option as well for those of you who are unable to be there !
