The UNB Art Centre welcomes the Fredericton Fibre Arts Network (FAN) to its East and West Galleries October 27 through December 15. This juried exhibition features a wide range of fibre art selected for artistic and technical merit. Canada 150: A Celebration of Fibre artists include: Anna Mathis, Caroline Simpson, Charline Collette, Davida Sisk, Jacqueline Bourque, Jasmine Cull, Karen LeBlanc, Kathy Tidswell, Kim Benoit, Kim Bent, Lois McDonald-Layden, Lucie Quintal, Mary Grant, Patty Chasse, Lorna Winsor, Rachel MacGillivray, Ralph Simpson, Tina Sharapova, Trish Hirschcorn, and Vita Plume. 

This is their fourth exhibit at the UNB Art Centre. In 2003, members exhibited their work in String Fever, in 2010 Fibre Art: Naturally and in 2013, The Thread That Binds: Celebrating the Life and Work of Charlotte Glencross. The UNB Art Centre is located at Memorial Hall, 9 Bailey Drive, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, NB. The galleries are open 9 am – 4 pm weekdays and for special events. Admission is free to members of the public. Everyone welcome!
